Project description: In readiness for a new incoming tenant the project involved complete strip out of the previous tenant’s fixtures, fittings and mechanical and electrical services on a 2000m2 retail unit. The existing twin skin roof covering was stripped and replaced with a new, thermally efficient Kingspan composite panel system. Ground and first floor office spaces were refurbished and the retail area “shell” steel frame and walls redecorated. Externally all cladding was re-coated in the incoming tenant’s corporate colours and the entire car park was resurfaced.
All of the above works had to be carefully planned and managed in order that the adjoining unit was still able to trade throughout the works.
